Cost to run is $5, which covers the cost of one free beer after you run (for those 21 years of age or older). There is no registration fee for runners who would like a complimentary water, tea or soda.
Entry forms and more information about these races and events can be found on this website.
This week, temperatures will be scorching, and that means, too, heat indices will be dangerous. Please drink lots of water, take cold, wet cloths/hand towels with you if you plan to train outside, apply sunscreen and wear appropriate clothing to keep you cool. Train hard, but stay safe. Training in hot weather will make you tougher, but you still need to play it smart and safe.
Good luck to everyone this week and this weekend — and Happy Running!
